The IMI Defense™ G2 7.62×51 Basic Magazine delivers battle-proven reliability and rugged durability in a lightweight polymer platform engineered for modern 7.62×51 NATO / .308 Winchester rifle systems. Built using the same trusted design philosophy as the smaller caliber G2 magazines, this larger-frame magazine is manufactured from high-end fiber-reinforced polymer for dependable performance in demanding environments.

Designed with a constant-curve body geometry, the magazine promotes smooth cartridge stacking and reliable feeding performance while maintaining structural integrity during heavy use. Its anti-tilt follower further enhances operational consistency for duty, precision shooting, defensive, and training applications.

The G2 Basic Magazine includes floorplate drainage openings to help remove dirt, water, and debris in adverse environmental conditions. Optional configurations featuring a transparent round-counting window and overmolded enhanced-grip floorplate are also available for improved handling and quick visual ammunition checks.

Optimized for a precise fit in compatible mag wells, the IMI Defense™ G2 7.62×51 Magazine is compatible with military-issue SR25, MK11, M110, DPMS-pattern rifles, Sig Sauer 716 platforms, and Mil-Spec ammunition including M118LR.
